The arm band can be used in cold or hot therapy. When used cold, it is suitable for minor injuries such as bruises, aches, and sprains. Cold therapy is typically used up to 72 hours following injury and can soothe nerve endings and reduce swelling and/or inflammation. For cold therapy, the GelCell® can be removed from the band and placed in the freezer for at least one hour. It should then be applied to the arm for at least 10 and no more than 20 minutes. For hot therapy, the GelCell® can be removed and placed in the microwave for no more than 15 seconds. Hot therapy with the gel arm band is suitable for chronic aches and pains such as muscle soreness, as it sends penetrating heat into painful areas to help increase circulation. The GelCell® gives off penetrating moist heat, and should not feel hot upon first touch
The arm band can be used in the treatment of:
• tennis elbow (forehand and backhand, lateral and/or medial epicondylitis)
• golfer’s elbow
• carpal tunnel syndrome
• arthritis
• muscles strains, aches and pains

The gel arm band eliminates stress on the injured area by shortening the working portion of the muscle and applying compression without restricting circulation. It is lightweight and comfortable to wear and its lining is designed to absorb shocks and moisture. The arm band’s unique GelCell® focuses the compression on the part of the arm where it is needed most, usually just below the elbow. The gel arm band is latex-free.

The gel arm band is designed to fit most forearms between 11 - 16".
