The raised toilet seat offers strength and durability, with a gently contoured surface for extra comfort. Made of lightweight plastic, it has a deep splash guard to minimize soiling and it is resistant to stains and odours, and is fully sealed. The toilet seat is easy to clean using soap and hot water up to 195 °F (90 °C).
The raised toilet seat is easy to fit and remove. To attach it, you simply lift the existing toilet seat and slot the raised seat on top of the toilet bowl. It can then be attached to the bowl using the two L-shaped molded plastic brackets supplied. These brackets have bonded rubber non-slip buffers to keep the toilet seat firmly in position. They can be easily adjusted, using the large fluted knobs, to fit most sizes and shapes of toilets. Make sure the toilet seat is securely in place before putting weight on it. You should not hold onto the seat as a support when getting on and off.
The front of the seat is secured by a lip and there is no front bracket. This minimizes the risk of snagging yourself or your clothes on the toilet seat. The raised toilet seat measures 100 mm (4") in depth and it weighs 965 g. Its overall length is 400 mm (15 3/4") and its overall width including the brackets is 410 mm (16 1/4"). The aperture of the toilet seat measures 270 by 210 mm (10 1/2 by 8 1/4").
