The slatted bath board can be used by people who need a seat in the bath higher than the floor of the bath. It avoids the need for sitting on the bottom of the bath, allowing you to sit in a more upright position with less need for bending. It also minimizes the physical movements and balancing needed when getting in and out of the bath. It should be used with a slip-resistant bath mat, and is suitable for people weighing up to 190 kg (30 stone).

The slatted bath board is made with smooth, reinforced plastic slats, to provide a comfortable and quick-draining bath seat. The slats are sealed against water and the fittings are stainless steel for a corrosion-resistant finish. The bath board has rubber pads under the slats to help prevent it from slipping on the rim of the bath. The bracket can be angled to position the board further back into the bath as required.
The slatted bath board measures 232 mm (9 1/4") wide and 27" long.
A optional bath board handle (also available from the Bupa Shop) can be fitted to the board to make getting on and off the slatted bath board easier.
