Product detail

This Mama Sure kit includes the TENS unit, a belt clip, vaginal probe (a smooth plastic cylinder that you insert like a tampon), batteries, and double zipped carry pouch. It also comes with full instructions.

The Mama Sure works by delivering a tiny, safe, electrical current through an intra-vaginal probe. This current mimics how your body sends messages to your nerves. There are three preset programmes for the three forms of incontinence; stress, urged and mixed.

Program A for urge incontinence (which occurs when the bladder empties unexpectedly due to its muscles contracting involuntarily) creates a long series of electrical impulses to reduce involuntary contractions by soothing the nerves and reducing the false signals sent to the brain. Improvements may take only two weeks.

Program C for stress incontinence (involuntary leakage of urine when a person coughs, sneezes, strains etc) strengthens the pelvic floor muscles by prompting them to squeeze in and contract, pulling in the muscles of the pelvic floor. Success should be seen after once-daily stimulation for one to three months.

Program B for mixed incontinence creates the same drawing in sensation as programme C, but not as strong and the muscles do not contract as much.

Health benefits

Whether you suffer from stress, urge, or mixed urinary incontinence, the Mama Sure pelvic floor exerciser can help. The pelvic floor muscles have great rerstorative properties, and in stimulating these muscles the Mama Sure can actually cure incontinence in some cases. You can feel secure using it as it is drug-free (with no side-effects), discreet, safe and easy to use, and by using the Mama Sure you may be able to avoid surgery.

Please note, incontinence may have several causes. If in doubt, you should contact your doctor before using a pelvic floor exerciser/stimulator.
