Epicondylitis clasp
Product detail
Health benefits
The Epi-Sport epicondylitis clasp is designed to treat epicondylitis, a condition commonly known as ‘tennis elbow.’ This is when the tendons of your forearms become inflamed from overuse. The clasp is extremely lightweight and comfortable to wear without any pinch points, and the waterproof liner keeps moisture away from your skin while acting as a shock absorber. Although it gives your elbow support, the clasp doesn’t restrict circulation or movement, and it is snug-fitting to prevent chafing.
Though more commonly known as tennis elbow, the condition is not often associated with those who play the sport, the strain can be the result of a number of activities. People whose jobs require gripping or twisting actions could be prone to this condition.
Advice
Please read the product packaging before use, and follow the manufacturer’s recommendations.
The epicondylitis clasp gives dual action compression for both lateral and medial epicondylitis (forehand and backhand tennis elbow). The clasp works by compressing the long tendons in the forearm muscles, holding them parallel in order to facilitate healing, reducing inflammation and pain in your arm while you wear it. The clasp is lightweight, comfortable, and doesn’t restrict circulation. Its lining is shock-absorbent, and it is waterproof and fully machine-washable.
Sizing:
Measure the circumference of the forearm at a point between 1 1/2 - 2 inches below the elbow for accurate sizing.
