Silva pedometer
Product detail
This simple pedometer weighs only 22 grams. It is easy to use with no complex settings to programme in. There is also a filter function designed to ignore short occasional movements and improve accuracy.
The pedometer comes with a one year warranty against manufacturing faults (this does not cover the battery, or wear and tear on the pedometer, so treat your pedometer with care). The battery has an approximate life of one year. To change the battery, use a screwdriver to open the rear case (battery type is L1142).
Health benefits
Walking is a straightforward way to gently increase your activity levels, but it is important to be able to measure how many steps you have taken so you can build up your training safely and motivate yourself to improve further. An easy way to do this is with this basic pedometer from Silva.
To get started with your pedometer just attach it to your trouser waist or belt to start counting your steps (don't worry if you hear a faint clicking sound as you walk - this is just the pendulum in the pedometer doing its job).
Advice
Please read the product packaging before use, and follow the manufacturer's recommendations.
