Ideal for wearing around the house, the Kneehab is a thigh wrap all-in-one garment. You simply set it up, put it on, and switch on the unit. Your Kneehab pack comes with a control unit, garment, user manual, adhesive electrodes and battery charger. Choose from left leg or right leg wraps - or if you need to treat both legs you can buy an extra garment wrap, also available from the BUPA Shop.

Thigh muscle weakness can be caused by many conditions including knee pain, ligament injuries, tendonitis, osteoarthritis or, rheumatoid aethritis. Your quadriceps, or thigh muscles, support and stabilise the knee - but after a knee injury or operation, these muscles can suffer wastage. The Kneehab can be used pre- and post-operatively. It can help delay (or even remove the need for) an operation, or be used afterwards to help with rehabilitation and faster recovery. Kneehab uses EMS and Multipath technology. EMS sends gentle electrical pulses through pads which stimulate the motor nerve causing the muscle to contract. Over time, this helps to increase muscle strength. Multipath sends co-ordinated electrical pulses through electrode pads - this, combined with EMS, means comfort for you and faster recovery times. While using the Kneehab you will feel a tingling or buzzing sensation in your quadracep muscles. The Kneehab, and the EMS technology it uses, is clinically proven to be effective in treating thigh muscle weakness and reducing rehabilitiation time.
